Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I loved in and cannot tell you how much my French improved thanks to Professor Valerie ! |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Marie-Ange and Joelle were truly fantastic, they weren't hands on hovering but were encyclopedias of information and were always so kind and helpful from everything to arranging doctors appointments to providing directions to the best Parisian cafes ! |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Wonderful - I'd love with Madame Perrod again tomorrow ! |
* Food: |
I would suggest only breakfast be provided by the host families and a greater stipend for students to provide their own dinners. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I loved the excursion to Nice ! Brilliant. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
I felt very safe in Paris and knew which areas to avoid through tips from the administration. All heath issues were quickly taken care of through the help of Marie-Ange and Joelle. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Language
* Did your program have a foreign language component? | Yes |
Language acquisition improvement? |
I used French daily, rarely speaking English, and the practical application of the language improved my French so much that I had to tell people I was American, they couldn't guess from my lack of accent ! |
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition? |
