What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was absolutely worthwhile and gave me hands on experience in archaeology, which is hard to get in the states.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The staff at huqoq were knowledgeable and friendly. The work was hard at times, but it was well worth it. Definitely a memorable experience

Everything was well run, everyone knew what they were doing

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The kibbutz has very nice rooms

* Food:

The israeli food is delicious, but you eat the same thing every day so it gets a bit boring.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Since we lived on the kibbutz, we didn't really interact with too many Israelis, but the ones we did meet shared lots of culture with us.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Didn't have any health issues, but the hospital in tiberias was nice according to my friend that had to go.

* Safety:

We always felt very safe in the field and on the kibbutz

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes
