Strengthened skills in close reading, reading of classical languages and analytic writing. Experienced new field experience with archaeology, epigraphy, and art history.

The review title might lead you to believe my experience was negative, and that's why I would never do it again. But it really is a term of endearment. This was an incredibly special and amazing four months, and I will never do it again. It's bittersweet looking back months later, the memories make me happy and sad at the same time. But just like I said in my speech (iykyk), "Memory is the mother of wisdom"

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Take more pictures, you don't really need to do the readings but you NEED to take notes during lectures. Try to maintain a strong work-life balance, enjoy Italy and Rome but also really immerse yourself in your academics.
