My experience in Arles was great because, as a smaller town, it really forced me to speak French with locals rather than English. I got to learn a lot about French culture and my language skills greatly improved. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I learned a lot about a new side of French culture, one that people do not normally see. Living in the south of France is monumentally different from living in the west, from living in the north, and especially from living in Paris. This program really allowed me to see just how diverse France and French culture is. A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review

It was 100% a worthwhile experience; I learned a lot, made amazing friends, and experienced many aspects of French culture. It was an amazing experience. Studying abroad was an absolutely incredible experience! Every moment was worthwhile! I learned so much about what I am capable of, about the world, about being open-minded, about talking and learning from every person you meet, and about living life as an adventure! I saw every day abroad as a new adventure, with new things to ... A student - Northwestern University View Entire Review
My experience was definitely worthwhile. I loved bonding with a French family and I now have a special understanding of their culture. The program also forced me to become more adventurous. It gave me more confidence that I could live in France longer-term if I wanted to. Carissa P - University of Arkansas - Fayetteville View Entire Review
