UNFORGETTABLE AND BEAUTIFUL Past Review
By johana g (COMMUNICATION, JOURNALISM, AND RELATED PROGRAMS., The University of Texas at Austin) - abroad from 09/08/2014 to 12/18/2014 with
IES Abroad: Barcelona - Study Abroad with IES Abroad
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Very much worthwhile, I gained way more than I expected. Each passing day was like a treat; an opportunity to learn something new and see something I've never seen before. I fell in love with every small quality about being abroad. Meeting new people from different backgrounds never bored me and learning about a new tradition or culture was fascinating. You quickly realize that there is so much yet to be explored and talked about by you. I even admired the cobblestone and the sidewalk tile design. There is nothing like the experience of being abroad, I cannot wait to travel again and feel this all over again.

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Nearly Native or Trail BlazerCraving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.' |
