What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The city was incredible and overall it was an unforgettable experience that I think made me much more independent and certainly broadened my horizons greatly.

Single older woman, smoked indoors often which was frustrating but lived in a very nice neighborhood where i felt very safe

served lots of frozen meals and potato chips for dinner

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I didnt like the food my host parents cooked so usually at out at night a few times per week which I hadnt expected.
