What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was 100% worthwhile. I gained knowledge of new cultures and got to see so many beautiful places. I also got to meet so many new people.

Barcelona was the perfect place for me and I love IES because of the staff and location.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try to buy things from the grocery store as often as you can and save money to eat out on the weekends instead of everyday.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
