What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
IT was worthwhile. I learned Spanish but more importantly about the culture in Spain. I want to go back as soon as I can.

My host family was amazing. Antonia was so nice and helpful. She was like my mom.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Going to Costa Brava was really fun and a great way to see the country.

THe only problem was pick pocketing, but it never happened to me.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I did not realize traveling would be so exspensive. If there was a place for us to get lunch, that would have been nice too.

I practiced most with my house mom. I used Spanish with her everyday because she spoke no English.

Comments: It was challenging but I enjoyed it. He made it relevant to Spain and the cases all pertained to European companies. He was always well prepared and interested in what we had to say as students. I participated in class just as much as I would have here.
