IES Abroad: Berlin - Study Abroad With IES Abroad

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I first and foremost learned what an interesting and quirky place Germany is. How rich its history is, how cool its culture is, and yet how different it is from the places I've been before. And considering all this, as well as the fact that I am Filipino studying in America, I also learned many hard truths about the complexity of this world. It will take me some time to internalize all this, but once I do, and in fact, even now, I can say it was more than worthwhile.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
