It was absolutely worthwhile. I gained new perspectives on different ways of life, and learned a lot about myself from being on my own and being independent.

Overall I felt pretty integrated, but I would have liked to be able to branch out more and speak more Spanish. With such a large program, it was too easy for me to hang out with only other Americans and speak English. |
