What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I was able to experience a completely different culture. South Africa is known as the Rainbow Nation and I was glad that I was able to experience it. Growing up in a city that is known as the melting pot, it was eyeing opening to see the similarities and differences.
