I learned a lot about myself and what I am capable of. It was much more rewarding for me personally, but it also had some academic reward as well!

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try to buy your own groceries instead of ordering or eating out every day. Also, dairy products expire really fast so if you're not a milk drinker, I would recommend switching to almond or soy milk since it lasts longer.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
