Studying abroad was definitely worthwhile. I learned so much not only culturally, but academically. It was an amazing experience that I would never trade.

The way my classes were structured very differently from how I'm accustomed and I found it challenging to adapt to a different learning style and teaching style. |

The IES center in Dublin did an amazing job incorporating our needs and keeping track of all of their students. They always had helpful tips for travelling and kept us updated on local events happening in Dublin. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Our apartment was incredibly nice. They provided us with full kitchen appliances and plenty of room. |

Any food experience that was bad, was my own fault because my cooking sometimes flops. Aside from that, the food in Dublin is amazing. I highly recommend Beef and Guinness Stew or Pie. |

* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
All of my classes were mainly filled with Irish students, so I felt very integrated into the Irish culture. |

* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
IES very clearly described the health options available to us and kept us very informed. One of my friends had bronchitis while we were abroad and IES was very quick to help her get the care she needed. |

I never once felt unsafe in Dublin and the IES center kept us updated on any events happening in countries we were travelling to. |

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | If you're trying to save money, don't go out as much! Make your own food and have fun nights in to save a couple dollars here and there. It all adds up in the end! |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Rainboots are not a thing in Dublin. You will stand out if you wear them! Aside from that, don't worry about trying to fit in based on what you wear, as soon as you open your mouth people will know you're not a local! |
