I want to go back! Past Review

IES Abroad: Freiburg - European Union: Politics, Law & Economics

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The program was extremely informational and educative. I learned a lot from the classes that I took and I think that in general, the people on my program were highly knowledgeable as well. I really like the ease of mobility and the chance that one gets to venture out onto Europe. You're only an hour away from the airport so I had many European friends visit me and also visited some as well. I want to go back and be able to eat at some of the best Italian restaurants I've ever eaten. Enjoy the time here because you will see a lot in just 3.5 months. Take time to see the Black Forest and discover some treasures in Freiburg as well.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
