What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Learned a lot about the EU, but a lot more about myself than I expected. The program was good, with some flaws. Overall enjoyable, and I would recommend it to a student strong academically.

German food is hearty and good, but not super flavorful. You're responsible for your own meals, though

No one's fault but my own - I didn't speak any before and only speak a little now

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Other than traveling, it was very easy to live on only a little money by eating in and cooking for myself

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Book in advance, as far as possible. Buy the option to cancel/change tickets without fees to adjust arrival/departure times to fit your schedule.
