What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Studying abroad has changed what I want to do post-grad. For instance, I am considering post-grad programs abroad that I was not considering before and I can see myself living over there for a few years.

I didn't expect to have as much support as we had.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I didn't have to buy anything for my suite which was great. It was a bit messy but very cozy and my flatmates were great people.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent on average €100-150 a week but I think I could have spent better.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Food goes bad really quickly so spending money on stocking food is a bad idea!

Most people spoke english but I wish I would had made a bigger effort to speak only German with my roommates and teachers.
