It was worthwhile. I learned that I was capable of being on my own in a foregin country and getting around successfully.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I would say create a value system of the things that you want to experience or value while abroad. For example, I valued traveling to other countries so I made sure I prioritized that financially.
