* What could be improved?
  • More integration with the local students who go to the same school we do.
  • Discussion about how the politics of the island will impact us, such as prejudices held by some people about us being there.
  • The optional Spanish course needs a professor that is educated as a teacher.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? That The Galapagos is a heavily politicized place to live and that this will have effects on my experience as an international student living there.

Reasons For Studying Abroad

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
