What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to be an independent adult. I can now manage a budget and feel more confident to do things by myself. This is by far one of the most worthwhile experiences anyone can have!

I watched my budget very, very closely. Many of my peers went over their budget, however, if you make the conscious decision to watch your spending you will be okay!

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Plan travel early, always look for student discounts, and skip buying unnecessary items throughout the day.
