What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My Spanish improved drastically. I also learned how to plan travel, make my own decisions, and solve problems on my own. Studying abroad was definitely worth it.

All the time! They were very good about this, always encouraging us to speak Spanish to each other. |

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? | When you go out to dinner with American students, devote certain nights to speaking only in the host country language! It's fun, but if you don't set aside meals to do this, you will speak only in English. Promise. |
