What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned to be very independent and to adapt to new people, communities, and settings. I also learned a lot about Spain and its culture and people. It was a super enriching experience and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | The option for students to study with IES for the year is very uncommon and there are only a handful of students that stay for the whole year so be aware that each semester will be very different in terms of people and community if you choose to do a year. |
