This experience was definitely worthwhile as it brought me closer to my family in Italy and allowed me to live the life of a true Italian, which I learned that I am.

Many students were robbed, mainly pick-pocketed, around the city. Be sure to keep phones and wallets securely tucked away in purses or pockets that you are attentive to at all times. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
IES employs an incredibly accomplished faculty and an even more dedicated staff. Not to mention, my CA Silvia, the local student employed by IES, just about made my experience by bringing me into her life, introducing me to her friends and family, and really making me feel at home. |

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | If possible, arriving with an unlocked phone and European Citizenship will save a lot of hassle. The purchase and installation of an Italian chip is shift and easy, and avoiding the Visa process is a great timesaver, if qualified for dual citizenship with a European country. |
