| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Money goes fast so it's important to always be conscious of how much you're spending. I spent more money than I thought I would on groceries, and dining out. I would recommend making a budget for every week just so you don't overspend. |

I could practice Italian with peers, teachers and my community assistant. It was necessary to attempt to use the language in everyday interactions because many people did not speak English very well. It was extremely helpful that IES had an intensive language program for the first month everyday in order to help us learn the language. |
