What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to live without my family or friends 24/7. Even though I made friends while abroad, I was finally able to learn how to live on my own.

I never realized how happy I would be living so close to the beach with year-round warmth. The activities, people, and trips I experience while abroad felt almost like a dream.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Just talk to people as you're walking around! People will appreciate it when you speak the language (even if you're not the best at it).
