IES Abroad: Paris - French Studies

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
This was the best of experience of my life so far. I have learned so much not only about France and its culture, but also about myself. I feel that this experience allowed me to grow personally and to truly analyze what I want out of life and where I wish to take my studies.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The academic atmosphere was tremendous. I loved each one of my professors and was genuinely interested in all of my classes. I think that IES provides unique classes that cover material students may not otherwise have the opportunity to study. It was also interesting to be able to experience how French professors teach and grade, and to be able to compare the similarities and differences between French and American academic systems.
