We were taught a dialect of arabic that is not spoken in Morocco.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?

  • Darija class required for all beginners instead of fusha
  • Longer desert trip
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? -the desert trip is short and we do not camp...stayed in hotel -I would not be learning the language spoken in the country...instead I was taught a different dialect that I had to spend hours learning but personally would never use -as much as I was warned before leaving the states and once I got here, one can not really prepare themselves for the harassment
