About

Rabat boasts a cosmopolitan mix of European Modernism and North African and Islamic tradition. Its unique blend of culture, religions, languages, and identities creates a perfect backdrop for studying issues in the francophone world and for studying Arabic language. Rabat’s coastal location, moderate weather year-round, and intermingling of old and new make it a fascinating city to live and study in during the summer. As the capital of Morocco, Rabat is home to numerous non-governmental and international organizations, and Morocco’s leading University.

Students in the Francophone Studies & Arabic Language Program must choose between one of two tracks: Francophone Studies and Arabic Language. You are also required to take a 1-credit course in Colloquial Moroccan Arabic to help you communicate with the locals.
