What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about myself, mostly how to travel and exist alone without feeling lonely. It was definitely worthwhile, and I would recommend it to everyone.

While I thoroughly enjoyed studying abroad in Rome, I felt as though IES did not have the best academics and wasn't always helpful when navigating the abroad experience. I would also choose to study at an institution with local students rather than all Americans.
