IES Abroad Santiago - Full Time Semester Internship

Intern abroad this semester in Santiago — the economic, political, and cultural capital of Chile. Beyond the bustling city center, Santiago is surrounded by mountain ranges on either side and is an easy drive to the Pacific coast. A semester internship in Santiago is the perfect way to explore this South American metropolis and its nearby natural wonders, increase your Spanish language skills, and gain experience in education, health, business, and government, to name a few. Over the course of the semester, you’ll work for at least 32 hours per week at a local business organization. Commute to your internship via the Santiago Metro, South America’s largest metro system. Step out for a stroll at lunch and visit the Mercado Central to enjoy some congrio frito (fried local Chilean fish) and puree de papas (mashed potatoes).
