What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My self-confidence increased and I trust myself way more than I did before. It was the most incredible experience and worth every bit of homesickness or stress.

While the student protests caused security to be heightened, the IES staff handled it wonderfully.

I lived in an apartment that was separate from IES during the second semester. I saved on living expenses.

  • The IES staff made sure we felt at home.
  • THe flexibility with taking classes at local universitites
  • The amount of support the program gave us. They were always there if we needed them

  • Nothing. The program is fantastic!
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? 11 months goes by a lot faster than you think. Don't countdown, just enjoy it all!
