It was very worthwhile and I learned well what it feels like for others that don't speak my language in my home country. Adequate communication is something that shouldn't be taken for granted.

Everything about the system was pretty fair, and in some cases the syllabi communicated well what was expected of the students. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
It was an apartment in a really nice area of Santiago. Apt 221 Americo Vespucio Las Condes <br /><br /> It was great, I have no complaints and I had everything I needed. My host parents treated me like their own grandchild and were very loving. |

My host mom was a great cook and I always had plenty of food |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
visited postas and museums with our program and visited Valparaiso |

Just stay in the part of the city that you know is safe and you're fine. I didn't need any specific vaccinations to go to chile |

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Public transportation was the most expensive. more than 20 dollars a week. Everything else depended on what I decided to do. I had 3 meals provided |

Comments: | the course was sufficiently challenging but not too much so. The field trips were useful and the teacher was absolutely excellent. I participated the same amount as I would have in my home school. |
