What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Going abroad was absolutely worthwhile. I gained so much independence, cultural awareness, and appreciation for the world. I grew so much as a person and gained a new perspective on not only the world, but myself. Nothing compares to what you will learn by going out in the world, immersing yourself in a new culture, and living abroad.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Walk when you can and cook basic meals instead of always eating out. Grocery shopping in another country is an experience in itself!
