It was my first time out of the country so I learned a lot and it was definitely worthwhile.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Go out and talk to people - the people at Kanda University do not want to speak Japanese they want to speak English, so you have to really travel outside of school to get the immersion

  • We had our placement test the day after our flights and it made it extremely difficult and stressful
  • Time to relax before/during orientation instead of constant activity
