What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned more about myself as a person, friend, and musician. This was the best thing I've ever done for myself, and I made lifelong friends.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Wait to buy things that you REALLY want. It can be very tempting to want to buy tons of souvenirs, but a if you wait a little while, you'll find even more, cooler things that you'll want more. Also, try restricting yourself to a reasonable weekly budget. |

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? | Get out there and speak! It can be very intimidating, but putting yourself into situations where you need to use the language is the best way to learn it. Living with an RA is also immensely helpful in learning the language. |
