What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Absolutely! I learned a great deal about history (particularly music history). I had the opportunity to see places that I had only read about. I got to hear music live that I had only ever heard in recordings.

Vienna is the ideal place for music students to study. I attended operas and concerts almost daily - for just a few Euros each!

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Spend lots of time (including weekends) in Vienna - it is STILL my favorite city. Choose a few cities that you really want to go to and make plans early. If you feel safe doing so, travel by yourself.
