What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?

I was able to gain a better understanding of myself (including strengths and weaknesses) and additionally became more independent...in the end making the study abroad experience something that I don't regret doing. But I wouldn't necessarily say that the experience was "worthwhile". Faced a lot of difficulties due to the inconsistency and disorganisation of the program and would definitely not participate in the IFE program again if given the opportunity.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.
* Host Country Program Administration On-site administration of your program	The administration was not very helpful or informtive prior to study abroad experience about the details of the courses/experience and took very little part in the actual program itself (i.e. classes and instruction)
* Housing: How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?	I lived in a foyer (similar to a dormatory setting). Each individual had their own room with communal shower/bathroom/kitchen facilities. <br /><br /> Satisfactory.
* Food:	N/A
* Social & Cultural Integration: How integrated did you feel with the local culture?	None.
* Health Care: How well were health issues addressed during the program?
* Safety:	Travelled during the time that the swine flu received increased attention. Program sent emails if students wanted to do further research on receiving a vaccination.
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program?	No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget? (1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
