I'm fluent now, I gained a lot of new friends and an amazing host mom. Definitely worthwhile.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Buy grocery store food and make it at home and bring a water bottle to fill up at home and take to school. I recommend a Bobble.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Talk to your friends in Spanish! It's awkward at first but helps so much. And make friends who are native to the country - it helps with the colloquial aspects of the language and it's fun!
