* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

There were 120 students in the program, so we didn't get much one-on-one time with the administrators. This was a positive aspect for me because it gave me lots of freedom and a sense of independence. This program definitely doesn't hold your hand.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

I am vegetarian and the program placed me with a vegetarian host mom.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The trip to Uruguay was great. We also went to Tandil.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Don't walk alone at night, call a taxi. Wear your bag across your body, NOT in your hand/on your shoulder. Put your phone and keys in a pocket, separate from where you keep your money so if you get robbed or pickpocketed, you can call for help and get into your house.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I spent more on going out for dinner and drinks than expected
