I learned a lot about myself. I learned what I liked and what I disliked, and that's valuable information for self development.

I was very integrated with the local culture.

I got sick once, but I called a doctor and he came to my house. He was very sweet, and I was better in no time!

Buenos Aires is a dangerous city. Students should be extra cautious.

Buenos Aires is expensive. I think prices are similar to that of NYC. I spent about 150 a week.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • My host mother!

  • Spanglish (language exchange meet and greet)
* What could be improved?
  • The crime. I lived my life in fear my first few months.
  • The program's organization. It was very confusing and unorganized at times.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew more about Argentina as a whole and the other cities I could travel to.
