Study Abroad at University of Buenos Aires Past Review
By Melissa M (Spanish Language and Literature., Providence College) for
IFSA: Buenos Aires - Argentine Universities Program
It was most definitely worthwhile. I gained a greater world view and much more independence, all while taking classes and researching in another language. I understand myself a lot better now and know what I can and can't handle.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I think that my overall educational experience was amazing, although the disorganization of the entire university system at times proved difficult. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The program administrators really cared about the students and their progress and were readily available with any problem one might have had. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived in an apartment in the Recoleta neighborhood with a host mother and two host sisters.

I loved my location because I was literally on top of the subway line and my host family was amazing. Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | The exchange rate is good, but it adds up quickly. Try not to take taxis and utilize public transportation. |
