What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about what it's like to live and experience a different culture. I've been abroad on vacation several times, but this was the first time I've spent such a long period of time abroad. I got to experience the city, the country, and the culture in a totally different way.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish the procedure to apply for the program was easier and had clearer instructions for registration. Everything was sent to me late or vague. I had a lot of trouble getting abroad. Once I was there, it was worth it.

The Academic or Linguist
You went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you!
