Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Not exceptionally difficult, but foreign professors were occasionally tough to decipher. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Single room in a suite. Five people sharing a kitchen. Individual bathrooms in each room.

Personal bathroom, rooms spacious enough. And the university cleaned the entire room, and bathroom, once a week. |
* Food: |
Prepared for myself, it was delicious |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Awesome school, and London is amazing. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
They hype up pickpocketing to keep you on your guard, but thats the biggest danger; very little physical violence in the UK in danger. But its a city, so you can't be an idiot. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | $100-150, but you can easily spend more. London is expensive. East End eases the pain, definitely cheaper than Central. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Taxes are high. |
Language
How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? | None |

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | A little removed from central, posh London but easy to get there. |
