IFSA: Oxford - England Study Abroad Program at St Anne's College

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Given the tutorial system, I learned to take control of my learning at Oxford. To dive deep and ask questions in the areas I am particularly interested in. Outside of tutorials, the experience is truly what you make of it depending on if you want to spend more time in student orgs, exploring the libraries and other colleges, in sports, etc. Being at St. Anne's for a year was definitely worthwhile. I gained much depth in knowledge in courses for my major and outside of it and made meaningful relationships with my peers and tutors.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Many logistical things regarding tutorials and such are organized and planned once you get to Oxford. It may feel stressful due to the aspect of uncertainty, but have assurance that everything gets sorted by the necessary time.
