I won't trade that experience for the world Past Review
By Noor Altaai (University of Missouri - Kansas City / UMKC) - abroad from 06/28/2018 to 08/04/2018 with
IFSA: Oxford - Oxford University
Traveling to another country, living a different daily life, and participating in different activities has deeply shown me a different culture and taught me a lot; especially that it was my first time to travel and live by myself, so that increased the responsibility sense to a very observable high level.

Yes
Last year, I went through some challenges that required some extra time and energy so my results were not up to my normal standards. I was trying to find something that would give me my power and confidence back. Then, I found out that studying abroad is the most challenging thing that I could do during the summer of 2018, and I was confidently right. It helped re-charging up my ideas with positivity and helped me prove my method in the possibility and existence for all our dreams. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
the program provided almost everything even the snacks during our Wednesday excursions so I really didn't need anything except my personal expenses and souvenirs |

The Academic or LinguistYou went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you! |
