Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I had a wonderful experience with each of my professors and classes!

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program was overall wonderful! I wish there were more students from other schools in America and in London. In addition, I wish we had a larger use of a school library and computer access.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived with my friends from home in between both schools that we had been attending.

* Food:

Students should experience and try many different types of food and go beyond their comfort zone.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

All of the trips I took were with my friends from out of the program. INSTEP did not organize any trips.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I always felt safe, yet I would make sure you know of a good doctor just in case before you get there.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent about 500 dollars a week.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I would say try to budget as much as you can.

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? Fluent
What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? The highest level seemed to be at a 600 level parallel to Tulane.
