What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
it was very worth while! honestly I learned so much about the culture over there and their way of living and conducting business. it honestly in some respects made me much more appreciative of the United States and where I live!

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

This program was simply amazing!!! Everything was planned out for us and we knew what to expect before we even got there! There were two amazing IBS leaders waiting at the airport for us when we arrived in Rome and it was very easy to spot them, They were also extremely helpful with getting us to where we needed to go! The culture we were exposed to on this trip was just unbelievable! nothing like I could have every imagined! this was my first time out of the U.S. so I was not completely sure what to expect but let me tell you, this trip blew my expectations out of the water! I would do it again in a heart beat! I just wish I would of found out about it sooner because I would of gone on more trips, but I graduate this December.

the hotels we great! staff was very nice and helpful and the building itself was very clean! great locations in proximity to the heart of the cities and all the sight seeing landmarks.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? do not take any cash with you! use your debit card to withdraw money or if your bank has this feature get a card with euros and pounds on it only so the back converts your money here in the states and then you just use that card over seas which is already pre loaded with a certain amount of each currency you will need on it. exchange rater for cash are HORRIBLE!!!!!
