What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I improved communication skills, met new friends, and learned about many new businesses and industries that sparked my interest.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Most of the seminars we attended were extremely informative and I really liked being able to actually meet such successful business people one-on-one.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The hotels in Paris and London were not very nice and inconveniently located.

Loved everywhere but Germany!

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

There's a very noticable difference between Americans and Europeans.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I never felt unsafe in any of the cities we visited!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I loved IBS, just wish I'd come with one other person I knew beforehand. Got a little homesick at times!

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Geneva, Paris and London are PRICEY!

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Around $400 I would say.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Know that European waiters only expect about a 10% tip.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I felt very prepared! Wish I had brought a jacket besides blazers, though.
