What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The program was definitely worthwhile. I was able to put my business knowledge into international perspectives and learn the practices of many companies, that will aid me in my futur career.

Half star was taken off because of group size, a little less people would have been better.

All locations were great and roommate assignments worked well.

There were many opportunities to meet and socialize with locals it was helpful for cultural integration.

There is a saftey plan addressed to everyone in every city, it is also very helpful to learn some of the language in case of emergency or have some way of asking for help.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

This program was one of the longer ones, which I think is better for understanding the different cultures because you have more time in each place.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • The array of businesses we visited, there was some place everyone was interested in.
  • The ability to experience the culture with the group and individually made the trip more valuable.
  • The connections made between the business professionals we met with and the students on the trip
* What could be improved?
  • The size of the group was too big which made traveling difficult sometimes.
  • Give more emphasis on learning the languages to help students explore more.
  • Better screening of students
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It would have been helpful to read more history of each place and the landmarks since a lot of places didn't have much explanation.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
