What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that you can make friends in the most unlikely places. People are very willing to help you. Public transportation is one of the best things in a foreign country. It makes getting around so much simpler. I also learned that getting lost isn't the worst thing in the world. Whenever I got lost with a group we ended up finding new and different places. I also learned to try everything you can, whether it be facing your fears of heights by going to the top of the Eiffel Tower or spending the night at dinner with a group of strangers. Also that it's amazing that so many Europeans know so many different languages. I want to learn French after my trip. I would say the experience I gained is priceless and anyone that has the opportunity to go should go.

I wanted to experience and try everything. So that is why I know I spent so much money. |

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | I would say just check the menu outside beforehand. They're all clearly labeled with the items and prices. And just be conscientious of the exchange rate. Because overall it will be more expensive but not by too big of a difference. |
