What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about how our cultures compared to other people are so drastically different. It is totally worth every moment of your life to do something like this.

Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? None

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The educational experience was phenomenal. One of the most informative trips i have ever taken.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The faculty we had with us were exceptionally nice. They all helped us out and taught us our ways around the culture of the places we were at.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The housing arrangements we had were nice. They had amazing breakfasts at all the hotels and quite comfortable living arrangements.

* Food:

The food all through out these countries were amazing. It's like a whole new world of food.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I was well informed by the faculty and school to help me adapt to the culture very well. Made things much more enjoyable and convenient.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I personally didn't have a thing with health care in these areas but some of my classmates on this trip did and from what I was told everything was convenient and very helpful for us in all the areas we were at.

* Safety:

The safety overall in these countries was a big concern for most of us. If we stayed in small groups and not stay out too late we were fine, but we were well informed about these issues.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

It was so fun that i would absolutely do it again.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Overall you would spend almost $100 a day or less but that is not only for food but with souvenirs. When you are in a whole new culture you want to spend more. It feels like this will be the only chance you will get at being here.

Language

How much did the program encourage you to use the language?

0 = No encouragement, 5 = frequent encouragement to use the language
